I would have given the novel 5/5

This was an absolutely amazing novel till around chapter 200 (before mc was forced to become the Emperor of the commoners).

After that, forget about poor translation, the story was too dull and boring.

The author's head must have been hit by a donkey!

Just why do authors often ruin their own works after some success?

Since mc become Emperor, it was so boring that I almost want to stab the author. Ahem, atleast I want to slap him twice on his face.

First, he changed the previous Free loving, comedic, badass and nice settings and atmosphere of the novel entirely after mc become Emperor, to a dull one of course.

Next, he clearly pointed out that it would be a long-long arc. If only it would be a small one, then it could still have been bearable.

Next, author put the only girl who was the most annoying (unlikable) till that point of novel beside mc. Ah god. I really wanted to puch the author. He was clearly trying to forcefully develop feelings for them.

Next, previously mc was still free and a boss by himself. Now he had to continuously be under two Mystic Master, and act like a good subordinate.

Next, despite I understood that emperor usually were surrounded by women not only by his choice but others forced upon him, it was still disgusting. Too many women were introduced, thankfully mc had no interest but despite that some woman were still forced to stick with mc by mc, due to their "usefulness".

Tbh, I really want Harem MCs to not dump his lovers/girls in corner and travel or do things. Though author is not leaving all girls, but the woman put beside the mc was not least likable! At least bring the girls from his sect!

What garbage!

Despite not perfect, Translation was not bad till 200 chapters, after it turned far-far worse. It was easy to see even the translator found the novel utter rubbish and boring.

Tbh, me and everyone were excited for mc to become the Emperor as it seemed interesting and there will be world building and so on. But no, author just made the whole thing so damn boring.... Uh...

Sigh...

If author had wrote the Emperor arc atmosphere of the novel from the beginning it would have been fine as I wouldn't have felt that reluctant on dropping the novel, but it was truly an amazing novel before that. I would have given 5 out of 5, due to it's unique masterpiece. Sigh... Now it feels suffocating to just read it beyond this point.

And the worst part is author is clearly pushing it to make it a huge big arc or perhaps permanent one. As mc had become dump to wish for "unify" the world. A true chinese author; can't tolerate other's uniqueness and wish to have everything in one banner. If mc just wanted to make his country a badass, amazing country, understandable, Or even conquer a few to make it a little bigger country. But why the desire to conquer the whole f#cking world?!

Just how much did author wanted to make the previous fun and interesting novel into a boring, dull, utterly waste of time novel?

Goodness... Sigh

It always feels terrible to love a novel and then drop it due to author being a utter dumb bastard.
