After being knocked out and abruptly awakened by a punch, Morin finds himself a prisoner of war.

He initially believed he was in a world on the eve of a conflict similar to World War I, but quickly discovers the actual situation is far more bizarre. For starters, why is he, an Imperial soldier, allied with volunteers from the International Brigades?!

    Chapter 293 is a good stop point to go and let the novel marinate. Chapter 294 gives a brief of the mcs combat records and all his accomplishments. It's damn fun to read all that's happened in the past 300 put in points.

      What u said is true but i dont think ite a 10/10 i think its 9/10 if read everything we have right now morin is too op, first he has infinite luck or plot armor its too powerfull if u ask me i think morin should be nerfed Also, the system cheats are really powerful, as you know, Morin gets a serum later on, but for some reason the system neutralizes its side effects. Bro wtf is this plot armor and cheat just nerf this nigga

        I agree that the author's treatment of the serum's side effects is too unjustified. It would have been acceptable to tone down the side effects, with a full cure later on. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the story. There are almost no real big piano in the bushes ; the hero works his ass off to survive and does everything he can to help Germany win. Considering the science fiction and magic genre, I'm more than satisfied. Considering that later (spoiler alert) the hero participates on the Eastern Front primarily as a strategic commander, and less often personally, his personal power becomes less important, but carries weight as a trump card that can be used at any moment.

    In short, it's an alternate reality war novel set between 1890 and 1910. The main character is reincarnated in this world and brings future war tactics and strategies to his own time.There's also magic involved, but beyond that, there's not much else I can understand. History lovers will like it, war and tactics lovers will like it. That's all I can say; nothing else comes to my mind. 8/10 That's how it'll be until episode 28, at least.

    I liked this one. Pretty grounded in reality despite being alt history+ fantasy. The armchair general-ing and glazing of modern tactics is kept to a relative minimum as the novel focuses on their practical effects and tries to inflict reasonable amounts of causalities to the MC's unit. Not to say its completely realistic or that there's nothing to nitpick if you're so inclined, but overall it does a reasonable job. As the novel progresses and magic becomes more commonplace I feel the novel loses some of its appeal, but if you're ok with a raised undead horde and a magical railgun there's still a good time to be had.
