The second moon marked the beginning of a revolutionary change. With the emergence of monsters and dungeons in modern society, and the ability users who fight against them, the world faces a shift in its paradigm. It heralds the advent of a new energy source and the decline of traditional occupations. Common sense thus becomes warped and imagination becomes reality. Collapse

I really like the dungeon, the world building, and basically almost everything. Its a really good story. The only thing is that the character interactions are unbearable. They are just so unrealistic and cringy.

and he is a siscon and his sis is a brocon gloom

Ahh just reread it and I still say it’s one of the greats. Solid story, nice clean ending, not perfect but really good.

If you like Toika’s other works you definitely like this one.

P.S. Check my profile for more recommendations.

I haven't read perfect run but I've finished EER and Supremacy Games isn't finished yet so I have it on hiatus until it's done. I though I put EER on my list I'll have to fix that.

This is not the worst you will read, not even close. If you like this genre too, action adventure, then this should be your poison. I don't think it does anything new, different, or better. But that's not necessarily needed for you to enjoy something if you already like this genre.

So basically, if you like action/adventure even if they're run of the mill, then give this a go.

He has had his intelligence at 20 longer than he has any of his stats, so he should be "used" to it by now, it has been what a year, but he is still retarded...

9 skill points if i remember correctly...

why does he keep putting up with Palludia... it is really pathetic...

why does the mc have to act like a wuss with every annoying female character that he interacts with?

so he is closer to someone who only yelled at him, degraded him and did nothing positive than someone who was, god forbid, actually pleasant to him?

Second time reading it I, read it a long time ago that I didn’t realize it until about 50 chapters in. Worth the read both times; this book is a literal mind f*** and a rollercoaster be patient with it nothing is as it seems. He is on his own league from the get go, overpowered from the beginning is to much but he was definitely more powerful then the rest.

finished reading it last year, so some details are lil bit foggy. However, I remember it got some interesting elements with good pacing in both world building and power scaling. Toika/ToyCar is quite a veteran author in light novel fantasy genre, so he rarely write with 6/10 quality, thou preference in genre or meta story might diminish your enjoyment while world-building inconsistencies is highly unlikely.

If you like the typical action adventure with a sprinkle of comedy, then it's highly likely that this is your cup of tea. A rule of thumb, if you like the 1st Iron-Man movie, u gonna like this 2; AND another story of Toika "Everyone Else is a Returnee".
