«You’re too arrogant.»

To Dyon, it seemed as though these words were heard all the time.

However, how could these people possibly know of all his hard work? Of the fact that sleep was but a distant relative of his. How could they know that he never had a single moment to rest.

And yet, despite their ignorance, they still said, «you’re too arrogant…»

But where were those people when a five-year-old Dyon’s eyes shone looking at a computer screen filled with code? Where were those people when an eight-year-old Dyon played his piano and plucked his guitar strings until his fingers bled… needing to vent his feelings about his lost mother without bothering his fatigued father? Where were those people when Dyon sat alone at ten-years-old… when his parents were gone, and the only thing left was a room filled with inventions and computers?

Dyon’s arrogance wasn’t borne of thin air. It was his hard work. It was his shield. And he wasn’t willing to give it up…

Now alone, he left his home behind.

He was no longer the boy genius who changed the human mortal realm. He was now nothing but a commoner, a bug noble families saw fit to step on. An insignificant existence.

And yet, Dyon was still the same unchanging person. Standing tall, his eyes firm and his will indomitable.

This so-called Martial World would come to understand the meaning behind his existence…

**Excerpt**

***

«You’re quite bold for a girl who’s almost been recluse for her whole life you know,» Dyon said chuckling.

«Little sister Delia and Meiying probably think so too, but you’ve been in my heart since the opening ceremony. Maybe not exactly in this way… But sometimes a foot in the door for a long time leads to a fully open one, no?»

Dyon smiled, 'it seems like she’s been watching from afar for a long time… it must be lonely being in that room with Libro all the time.'

Dyon felt a delicate hand playing with his collar, «the truth is that I’m always playing the gentle big sister role, mostly because I have no idea how much longer I’ll have the chance to…»

The vulnerability in her voice made Dyon tremble. Madeleine was so strong, yet it seemed even martial artists had their weaknesses too.

Author: As a disclaimer, RMW is my first novel, as such, the quality of the novel vastly improves as you go on — to the point where I’m very much confident that volumes two and three can compare to the best originals have to offer. If you stick with me, you won’t be disappointed :) Collapse

He was dropped in the first episodes because he was beaten
The MC is not strong, it's ridiculous that someone with the character name 'Main' isn't strong to me

The story practically just jumps from here to their. We didn't get to see some characters get their chance to shine like ava and the pakal boy to get their love story. Arios love story with Thor's sister too. The demon sage fight I was looking forward to wasn't even written. The twins too we didn't get to see them anymore. What happened with the demon generals. WTF happened to the others is emytheus even dead or alive. Where are the sex scene with jade(joke). Is there even a happy ending for his master (25th white mother).
What about his sister(Layla). What about the fact that there are more to it than what I can say.

24th white mother gets a happy ending. When you join the demon generals you kinda lose your identity in this novel. Bit sad about how that part works. Layla has her adventures with little black... basically Dyon at some point outscales them all besides his spouses(though he kinda does at the end as well) so the rest take a minor role real quick.

If there is one word fitting to describe this novel, it would be tiring.

Tiring as every kind of pain, and anguish would build up inside you as Dyon, the mc, keeps on getting into hopeless situations one after another. Although he would inevitably overcome all odds through schemes, luck, or some expert helping him, you would still feel tired.

It is tiring not just because of the endless challenges Dyon had to face, but also the writing style of the author. The narration and dialogues would go around in circles. This has a good point in that every single element would be explained properly but doing so too much sacrifices the flow of the novel.

Overall, it can be considered good. Just good but not the best. Read at your own risk because according to my experience, this novel is hard to binge. Take your time to take in all the info dumps and explanations for the schemes and machinations that occurs because that too, would have its own chapter. It might have been my mistake to binge it that's why it was tiring for me.

Ps. Thanks for reading this review and have a nice day.

Thanks for the review and you're absolutely right, I felt utterly exhausted by the time I finished reading the 1st three Volumes that I had to take a break. All the twists, explanation, details and foreshadowing (which I am completely clueless about) just overwhelmed my average brain capacity haha.

Thanks for the review! But what you said has reminded me of this authors other novels, both dimensional descent and grand ancestral bloodlines feel so tiring to read and even tho I like the stories and the concept I can’t seem to binge read them because it’s so tiring to see the MC deal with problem after problem without a break\breather in between where u can see the character grow in a relaxed situation. It keeps happening every time and it’s just so taxing for your mind seeing the MC struggle continuously.

Good novel, endured most of the shit that happens through out, but I feel as if the mc takes too much time to mature. He basically Acts without on a number of occasions. Handed a potential waifu over to his friend and abandons many more as if he doesn't notice.. he is very stubborn that your heart would explode of anger.. like it's shit on top of more shit service with cream.. got off at book 8 after jade did some f*cked up shit for the f*cker even though he didn't treat her right.. luna was already enough to learn something, but it's like he is hard on himself and people who love him.. too much to complain about, read at your own risk.. if you're sadist, this is for you..
