It has been some time since I have finished it. Prolly 6 months or so. I loved the first 1000 chapters! I also liked the next 500 chapters or so. But the last 200 chapters are equivalent to war crimes. It's unreadable and the author also admitted this. It's a masterpirce in it's own right if you ignore the last 200 chapters. I mean the gravel world arc is one of the greatest arcs ever. But in the end...Sigh! whoknows

From an exciting treasure hunt to collect upgrade materials for his team, and collecting potentially strong monster, this novel manage to degrade into a never ending spree of self cultivation - see arrogant char - 1 shot said char - advance to new world - self cultivation and repeat... Read the first 500 and then drop it

I am able to find many that are good no worries. This novel was good its just that the Author ran out of idea after 800+ chapters, like I said every chapter after was just him cultivating, come out to 1 shot evil dude, and harvest body, cultivate, repeat

I don’t know what to say? I pretty much skipped 2 to 5 chapters after chapter 500 something, from then on it’s just pretty lame and boring, MC became boring, whole story arc was boring, even the fights are boring

      i know right!
if the writer chose to continue with the universe as a seed and change it from only 2 trancsender's to being the universe's master and becoming a transcender is only the first step of cultivation, how good would it have been?!

Depending on the execution, it sounds quite good just depends on where the author starts. It has many possibilities tbh.

    [C:1915] — Review (spoiling alert)

Story: This story has an interesting premise, and the world-building had potential too; however, it suffers from the usual drawback of many C-LNs [chinese light-novels] (poor story-telling, poor plotting executions, rushed short-plots, unfinished story-parts, exaggeratedly OP MC, needlessly complicated system calculations, lack of emotional scenes, etc.)

Ex1: Honestly, the MC had like tons of Imperial Summons with tons of abilities that he freaking never need to use. Or, tons of Cards Abilities that you never hear anymore at some point... what was the freaking point?

Ex2: There are characters or items that the story somehow highlight (the bug guy with great telekinesis power, or the fire tin from Xue Luo, or that Sorceress Goddess for example)... but then, they just disappear from the story, and you never heard about it anymore. Once again, what was the point?

Ex3: The raiders... Come on, we never knew what happened with the raiders, and that girl who betrayed Great Heaven, but then, we are switching all the way to the big boss... Heck, was this novel written by multiple writers who combined the story? Is that why it was so nonsensical in term of plot sometime?

Another short-coming of this novel is the very lack of suspense. I mean, the MC would, somehow, always be invincible whenever he has to fight. Very typical of many chinese light-novels.

Honestly, the novel start-off great, but continued poorly. The initial life-wheel system was great. But then, at some point, it gives the feel that the author has to drag the story to make it longer. At this point, there's barely any system chart anymore or cards, because I bet that author wouldn't even know how to describe them. A shame, really.

Conclusion: This novel starts off great, continued poorly, but hopefully will end-up okay... The only good point about it is: although the author doesn't have much plot-writing skill, he's not the the usual racist type; while boringly descriptive, the world-building has some interesting premises and characters. I, for myself, particularly like: Grimace and Xue Luo. The two most interesting characters with decent characterizations in my personal opinion.

this is exactly what i felt after reading half the novel and dropped it. At this point I have read so many CN novels, there was nothing new there. Throughout the story I didn't feel or connected with the story of MC, it's so bland.

Could you answer my question? I stopped reading somewhere on chapter 1400 because of the main character's sister. Will she follow him all the time in the big world? How many chapters are given to it later?
