I really just want to lose money! T_T

Best boss ever, prodigy of the business world, genius creator, visionary of the century.

These are the descriptions used for Pei Qian, President of Tengda Corporation.

Ever since his rebirth, Pei Qian finds himself in possession of a system that rewards him if he manages to lose money.

Instantly, a brilliant idea comes to mind — making crappy games!

“If the game flops, all my investment cost will be lost!”

“How difficult can it be to lose money?”

Indeed… how difficult can it be? Collapse

So I just finished this book. I read it in one shot over the course of 2 weeks and honestly though at times it does feel slightly repetitive or sometimes the translator did not do the best job, overall it was a great journey. I will honestly admit this book had been on my list for a while but due to the comments here I put it off and I am a little upset I did so. This book is definitely not a master piece or ground breaking, but this book was definitely a fun journey and had a fresh look on the business growing compared to other LN's. Other than that I don't want to spoil it so just give it a shot, though ending feels a little rushed but everything is tied up so....

It was really a fun read, for the first few hundred chapters that is. After that, it's just repetitive, the author uses the same plot over and over and over again.

The premise is that the MC receives a system to create a company. Money will be provided by the system into the company account and the MC has to use the money to earn more money, or so it was supposed to be. Money is credited to the MC personal account at the end of each term regardless of profit or loss. 1% for profit while 100% for losses. This means that if MC earned $1000 for the company, he gets $10 into his own personal account. But if he loses $1000 for the company, he gets all $1000 into his own personal account.

The MC then decided that losing money is a better option since he can get money faster this way. But due to some coincidences or some other reasons, he ended up earning money for the company instead. This repeated every term and he kept on earning money for the company (system) instead of himself. The goal of the author is probably to use this method to eventually become an enterprise empire, but it's so repetitive for me to continue reading until it happens.

It kept on happening until the chapter that I stopped (Chapter 307). You can read it, it's fun but drop it later when it becomes repetitive. Probably no romance btw.

This novel is good. Starting is very enjoyable. But when it comes to boring part i can't read it. Even i forced myself to read 400 chapters. But after that i don't think I can read this anymore.

it’s a really interesting concept for a novel and the first 200 chapters were fine but i found it hard to tolerate it afterwards.

Take a break, that’s what I did. Read a hundred chapters at a time at most. Take a few months break, repeat. It lets the story keep from becoming too boring.

Cause IMO when this story is good it’s great, but when it’s boring it’s almost impossible to read. So taking breaks is important to keep going

I agree. These types of novels were never meant to be read in one sitting. It’s more of a boredom-killer type of beat,

Can anyone tell me how quickly this gets boring? My guess is this is the kind of novel that would basically repeat plot, otherwise how can it go on for so long..?

Separate question. I vaguely remember someone saying he doesnt care for his employees and throws them under whenever it might benefit himself.. is that true??

Rather than says cares for his employees, he wants his employees to be lazy and bring him losses, his employees get paid a lot but he doesn't want the products they make to be popular so that he can make money.

But you must not do it for hundreds of chapters. Author ruined it for word count, sad.
