Link was the top Archmage in the entire server. He had just defeated the strongest boss, the Lord of The Deep, Nozama with his party. However, instead of going back to town, he was transported to a secret location with pixelated CG.

It sort of felt like a vacuum, and within it came a glorious and commanding voice that calls himself the God of Light.

«Link, would you be willing to be the saviour who will pull the World of Firuman out from the churning abyss?»

What a huge mission! If it was in the real world, Link would have rejected it immediately. However, he was bent on being the hero in game.

«Bring it on!» Link answered confidently.

«Then, best of luck.»

    The MC is literally killing kind old lady -_- not doing anything when he knows that's even him doing won't badly effect him but might actually save more people -_- literally brain dead thinking... If he had already told that madam she could have informed others much less put up a fight win or not he could have left in that mess but he actually put her into slumber and let her die without even a fight 😞 real let down at the very start

      Who would believe him? He’s just a small apprentice who no one even remembers. Plus the assassins were already in place, if he did anything too big he would have gotten their attention. For example if he told the madam teacher, she would have 100% tried to save all the teachers and students. First off there’s no proof so even if the mc can convince her, how is he gonna convince everyone else. And let’s say he does convince them, that would only cause the assassins attention to be on them. There’s a reason the mission was called ‘survive and escape’ in the game. Plus in the beginning he was still kinda indifferent to the deaths of the people around him, partly because he just came from the game version of this world, on top of that he didn’t have much good memories of the school except the girl he saved. He only tried saving more people later. So in the end, it’s purely naive thinking if u think the mc could have saved everyone with the little time he had at the start

    Pretty decent action adventure. Decent world building, decent characters, decent plot, decent action, decency all year round'!

    If you like the genre then you should enjoy this since there's nothing egregious here, it even has an ending.

    Actually I thought this was very underated. It's not a 5/5 but when I saw a 3.8/5 I think that was a bit low. This novel starts out really good, it's exciting, fast paced and fun learning new stuff, he gained initial allies that would stick with him and initial feats that build his legend. Thennnn comes the middle parts, specifically during and after aragu. Them leaving milda behind with that demon princess was the stupidest thing link could do, especially after being suspicious of milda in the first place, he just had to simp though. Even after they left it should've been clear that something was amiss a mere few days after since the time in aragu is 100 days for one faruman day, mildas mission was not that difficult. Despite all that the magic was still fun and was I think a bit more readable than cuddlefish that loves diving's throne of magical arcana's research paper plagiarism system. Overall this is a good read but a 4/5 is a perfect score for it
