Korean have for habit to call "crazy bastard" a particular blend of crazy individual, but for me there is only one crazy bastard and that's Isaac.

The whole novel is S tier but the ending is dog shit . The novel had so much potential only to hurriedly end at a bad note. What about the gods and devil's and the otherworlders ? Probably author got bored and had some other ideas idk but the ending disappointed me .

I have read 200 chapters. From 80 the interest started to fade away, but still it was good enough to continue.
The harem is more like unwelcomed. The girls are ridiculous and .
Have noticed some unreasonable moments just for the plot.
The MC gets bullied a lot by the higher-ups, has unreasonably bad reputation since the start. He struggles to stay alive, sometimes wins and rarely "flips the table".
Magic somewhat sux. There's the beast-races, rare sword masters, quite some artefacts, very rare summoning circles... and just some utility magic-circles overall. And that's the end of it. No fireballs or whatever - really miniscule. But then otherwise the MC would've been in a way too big disadvantage as he .
Now that I think, it's not really all that great. But still readable. At least if want to read about a somewhat clever, inventive (so-to-say) and daring MC.

is he really insane in tha novel? Like is he evilmaxxing and malevolentmaxxing his way to the top?

This novel is good. It's a gem. It's good enough to reach the popular ranking. It's a shame tho, because of slow update it didn't manage to get the attention it deserve.

If you are expecting lots of fighting then don't bother this is more of a rts + sim type of thing & it is kinda slow paced like the mc free spirited

I have read like 30 chapters and the start was fascinating, but then it got to a point where it was just like 2 kids fighting with useless and redundant schemes, maybe it gets better later but especially after reading the start you would expect a lot more action, and it kinda pisses me off that he couldn't assist to the academy or whatever because he was too old, it's really retarded, I get that he has no magic talent or whatever but everything else also prohibit him from attending classes - I get it that he may not be the best, but that's plain stupid, they didn't allow him to get education and then when he builds his monopoly in storage and goods they want to f#ck him over.

Any thoughts about this new novel?

Hmm well after my comment, well I sincerely advise you ro read this novel. He starts with nothing and then using his brain, well I'm reading 40+ but I'm hooked up with his wits, he can use magic but the main point is there is a story behind it and his identity, about gates to be opened, I haven't read but you will know how interesting it is. He not op mc but his brains works like a genius. He is dragged along the conspiracy goes and he is enduring, preparing and patientily waiting to retaliate those who scheme against him. I promise that this is one of the best you can read hrre in this site.
