      He is not. He keeps calling her but shes not picking up and if she does pick up she is being weirdly distant though i fully agree that he is too tunnel visioned and its not a matter of a day but months that strains their relationship. It would have improved if she lived in his house but she did not want to do that because she wanted to know if she actually meant anything to him and its a bit overkill if that has to be the solution. what a situation.

    I enjoyed this novel a lot more then i expected. It is quite a simple novel story wise but the small details make it quite excelent. You don't have to know footbal besides how the game is played and knowing more just helps make the novel better.

    The best parts i find are the coaches and how they are portrayed; His abilities going up and this is done in spikes so you feel he got better by a large margin and how g.o.a.t abilities are portrayed(famous techniques by players); The interaction in the footbal world are done well, especially the agents interactions, and the way romance is handled is quite unique and it grew on me. The story keeps you excited and does not get boring.

    The bad parts are how his family is handled; 30 or 40 chapters too long when he played for his first team at the beginning of the second season before the european league matches start; A lot of characters are introduced at once in matches but generally they are more for the immersion then too actually remember anyway; chapter release rate.

    In a single sentance: The novel is a self fufillment fantasy where the mc strives to be the football g.o.a.t through the use of hard work and a aystem with a lesser focus on interactions between coaches and players, the mc and his agent & gf and an even minor focus is his family that actually is more a negative then a positive.

    I would rate it a 8.5/10 and that is really high for my standards.

        Don't really have that issue. If you criticize a novel on its main page then at least have the decency to explain it in detail. It is like saying i hate this novel because it contains rape without explaining if it is the mc doing it. who is getting raped. In what scenario. Why you feel it does not add value to the novel.

        I think you mean this part:

        They made his heart race like an inexperienced teenager that had met his crush for the first time.

        Zachary had to drop his gaze in defeat before his mind was overtaken by inappropriate thoughts. His usual swagger, gained in his past life, had fled faster than a gambler from a bookie.


        Hormones react and it does not go further then this. I felt it was a teaser that gave value to the novel.

            I agree, especially when a review includes morality. I just dislike using taboo subjects without explaining them because that scares potential readers away.

            Most of the reviews i see that are downvoted a lot only talk about a specific element that they dislike and ignore the rest so the review gives a false perspective of the novel itself even if the review is true and that probably gives a lot of downvotes?
