Transmigrating to the Qianyuan Continent, Xu Chuan was born with a Blood Lineage Genealogy. As the first generation ancestor, Xu Chuan received three talent bonuses from his destiny patterns.

[Dragon Vigor and Tiger Strength] : Daily energy and abundant qi and blood

[Daily Divination] : Divine fortune and misfortune for each day

[Heaven Rewards Diligence] : Whatever one persists in, one will surely gain

After reaching adulthood, Xu Chuan married, had children, and propagated his descendants. With each new generation, the Blood Lineage Genealogy would generate a new page, giving birth to multiple talent patterns.

[Golden Koi] , [Transparent Sword Heart] , [Divine Farmer’s Hundred Herbs] …

As the Xu family grew increasingly prosperous, more and more miraculous destiny patterns were born: [Azure Emperor Wood Sovereign] , [End of All Arts] , [Martial Ancestor] , [Sword Immortal] …

There were arrow gods who could pierce through the void with a single arrow.

There were formation masters who could create arrays with a single thought.

There were technique masters who could wield ten thousand methods at their fingertips.

Prodigies emerged in every generation, competing with the heavens themselves.

The Xu family rose from the lowest common people, emerging from the countryside, advancing step by step, and ultimately became an eternal and immortal clan lasting ten thousand ages. Collapse

    Fellow Daoists

This scripture is a bit mild in taste , a very slice of life story with almost no real challenge for the protagonist or his family .

Overall it's great but a bit vanilla for my taste

You guys can give it a go if you a looking for a slow paced and relaxing novel pepeg_22

They are hidden hence no challenge. When the family becomes a little big they start getting heavily targeted.

That maybe so , but compared to other Cultivation novels things just seem to fall into place for our MC's family, I know that they do face their own struggles and all but it's still feel a Lil bit off to me

Well it could also be just me

Like all Immortal Family stories, it starts off with a lot of complications, tricks, and wit, but once the family becomes a little or even moderately strong, everything becomes easier. Well, here we stop.

Will someone from this family become immortal? Will everyone become immortal, or what? I hate novels like these, especially the kind that make everyone immortal and no one dies. There have to be sacrifices in evolution.

Nope, seems like none are going to die, infact even mc wife prob wont(she is a mortal), considering the mc found life extension(60 years btw, he can refine those aswell/did)
So dont expect any sacrifce infact to chapter 144+(where i dropped it) the biggest actual """"Challenge"""" was mc daugther not wanting to marry (no joke btw)

TLDR, no tragic deaths from the mc’s closest ones. Mc wants to create an immortal family, not just become an immortal.

Someone from the third generation died but don’t expect this to be as tragic as The Mirror Legacy. I’m not completely caught up, around 50 chapters behind the mtl, but
As for his mortal wife, yeah she hasn’t died yet somehow but sooner or later she should die of old age. The mc protects his children and a few talented descendants but as time goes on the family becomes much bigger so of course he won’t care about some deaths here and there.

After reading 200 chapters this novel is mid

    The good:
The mc doesn’t get a harem is an actually good father to is sons and grandchildren. The golden finger isn’t a system that gives him absolutely broken abilities. It gives him and his descendants “talent” in certain fields but it isn’t overwhelming. For example the mc has alchemy talent but he can’t just make pills by just having the talent he has go gather herb knowledge and study through multiple chapters to be able to do that. The process is steady rater then abrupt.

    The bad:
The world building is mediocre, in 200 chapters there has been no mention of the wider world outside the kingdom. The world feels confined to the protagonist. And the protagonist doesn’t get any road blocks or problems he has to overcome everything feels simple. The power system is the most generic cultivation system. With nothing added.

    Final verdict:
A mid clan building/kingdom building novel. There are no massive flaws nor strengths. If you like this kind of novel it is worth reading. But if you are not a fan it is better to look elsewhere 3.5-3.8

🍃A Review Through the Dao of Patience🍃

Having traversed many flawed paths within the vast sea of cultivation novels, I rarely encounter a work that truly embodies steady progression without losing its essence. Yet this novel, though hidden among countless titles, reveals itself as a quiet gem to those willing to walk its path. yeah

🌿 What to Expect — The Path of Steady Refinement

This story follows not the explosive rise of a heaven-defying genius, but the gradual tempering of a foundation. Its pacing is slow, but not stagnant. Each arc serves as a cycle of cultivation, refining the protagonist’s mind, strength, and understanding of the world.

Rather than rushing toward power, we grow with the main character.

The supporting characters is not mere decoration. Each individual carries their own karma, their own past, and their own trajectory. Their stories intertwine naturally with the protagonist’s journey, forming a living ecosystem rather than a hollow backdrop.

The so-called “cheat” is present, but it does not shatter the balance of the world. Power is not handed down by fate alone, it is carved out through hardship, sacrifice, and persistence. The rise of the family is not a miracle, but a slow-burning accumulation of effort.

And at the heart of it all lies the true premise: the forging of an eternal immortal family. This is not achieved in a single leap, but through layered progression, generation by generation, decision by decision. Those familiar with the genre will recognize the rarity of such a grounded execution.

🍃 The Flaws — Trials on the Path

    No dao is without tribulation.

The very strength of the novel, its deliberate pace, may also become its greatest obstacle. To the impatient, the protagonist may appear weak, even stagnant. But this is merely the illusion before a breakthrough. Strength here is not loud, it is accumulated.

Another hardship lies outside the story itself: the slow updates. Even among MTL readers, progress feels like waiting for spiritual energy in a barren land.

Additionally, while we are occasionally granted glimpses beyond the protagonist’s immediate circle, the world outside remains partially veiled. Other sects and forces are hinted at, but not fully illuminated. A broader perspective could elevate the already rich world-building into something truly vast.

    🔥 Final Enlightenment

And yet, despite these trials, I find myself returning again and again.

This novel is like a gentle medicinal pill, subtle at first, almost unremarkable. But over time, its effects deepen, transforming into something addictive, something that nourishes the reader’s spirit.

It does not dazzle with reckless power or constant spectacle. Instead, it rewards patience. It honors persistence. It embodies the quiet dao of steady growth.

    Verdict: 9/10
A work for those who understand that true cultivation is not about how fast you rise, but how firmly you stand.

This Daoist is willing to part with enlightenment tea bags to grant fellow Daoists the chance to witness this masterpiece boast
