    This isn’t bad for light reading. Like a fluff xianxia mixed with slice of life. I especially like some of the techniques and their names; the author managed to make old favorites look somewhat new and interesting with their descriptions.

    I cannot beleive this comes from the author of "Top Tier Providence" which go complete opposite to traditional xianxia stories.

    But this one is an amalgamation of every xianxia troupe, there's nothing new regards to backstory, techniques, practise, villains, plotline and even mc who act like he's smart but always makes braindead decision that only serve to push the plot forward and nothing more.

            Ah i see, i get where author is coming from and i agree one TTP is enough but i cant believe author with such a creative prespective wrote this novel which feel very boring and cliche.

            I've read traditional xianxia done well by author like IET, Ergen etc.. but here it feels like author took a buch of idea from different cultivation novel and mashed it together without adding anything unique. This might've work in 2018 but today it just feels dated.

            Hopefully it gets better with time, auhor did say he'll expand more on family aspect.. I also think this translation had make my reading experience worse, I switched to mtl after 30 chapters and my reading experinece improved greatly. Never thought i'd come across offical TL wrose than mtl.

    This novel is surprisingly good. While it is not filled with intricate plots and detailed world-building, it gives us exactly what it promised in the synopsis. Heavenly immortal techniques? Mc will master it in one second! Not compatible? No worries, just need to practice for a thousand more years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber!

    The translation is not bad either (up to ch 78), with minor gender-benders in between. At least, its better than MTL.

    The other characters do not have too much depth, but that is to be expected of a power fantasy.

    A good novel for a bit of entertainment in this dull life.
