Why there's no update?

There is one great thing about this novel. You are able to read it even if you're drunk, because there is no hidden meaning in any of the dialogue between characters.

No need to put your brain to work with this novel, so read this great piece of work when your brain is tired from all the thinking you have to do in those "great" novels.

I dropped this one because it's not really offering anything.

You SHOULD READ this IF you haven't read that much cultivation/xianxia/progression fantasy yet. You might get genuine enjoyment if that's where you are right now. If not, then better to go find something else.

The reason why I say this is because, it just doesn't excel at anything. It's not really OP MC where the implementation is noticeably good or different.

The MC's personality isn't anything to write home about either. He's there, that's it.

No difference in magic system, just, tiered strength like basically all other cultivation.

It's not funny either. I've been trying to find comedy OP MC because let's be honest, most adventure and action type cultivation doesn't really do anything different and even if they do action well, it's just a battle the MC will definitely win in most cases so for the usual OP MC I like it to be comedic . . this one isn't particularly comedic and/or funny either.

World building, it's carbon copy of any other magical China land out there.

So characters aren't good, action, world building, magic system, plot, nothing stands out.

Overall, it's meh. It won't kill you if you read this, you wont' feel alive either. If this was breakfast then this is rice with soy sauce. Sure, it could be good to have it from time to time, but it's not anyone's fantasy to eat rice with soy sauce.

This is a lot like 'Scoring the Sacred Body of the Ancients from the Get-go', the main differences being the difference in mentality and family situation.
Mc in this one is more lowkey and kind. Well, lowkey in relative view.. But the premise of the 2 stories are basically the same.

My only complaint about this novel doesn’t have to do anything with the plot. It’s the bloody titles of the chapters are so long they could be full-fledged sentences. Some of the titles give away parts of the plot, like if you really read The titles it would be like you’re spoiling all of them. I was just reading a chapter where the title had dialogue in it dialogue.
