    I'm loving this story so far. It has a interesting plot/concept the MC isn't a mass murdering psycho or a person willing to do anything for power. The system, even though it doesn't give him tons of stuff is amazing and lets him grow nicely. It also has a good moral standpoint and unlike pretty much every other system doesn't let it's user do absolutely anything they want with its power. Regardless of that fact it doesn't restrict him either. Good stuff.

    I just caught up to the novel, reader and my eyes fell on the rating middle and then I was pissed. This novel is serious under rated lshock . I think this novel has good growth potential so give it a try. I know that the title is little too on the point but give it a chance it won't disappoint you.

    To the people down below who think the title is misleading Qi is only part of its strength if we don't include the human element the story will become more narrow.

      I rated it 3.3. The beginning was really good, but then he got stuck in the island and it all kinda went downhill from there. Really a shame because the story in itself, had a lot of potential. I wish that the author took a different route and stuck with the girl Freya. And now that I mention it, that entire Arc with the cultivator girl was entirely pointless. Why introduce her and have the reader build connection with her if she's just a background character. Overall, I just felt the story was a great idea, but poorly planned, and even more poorly executed.

    I really don't understand the hate this novel has been receiving. So many people are complaining that it "gets bad once he turns human", which i don't agree with at all. I mean he doesn't really ever "turn human", he just inhabits a body which he can leave at any time. Another complaint is him being disincentivized to kill innocent humans. Why is that a complaint? I mean we totally haven't seen a heartless MC in like 500 million other novels. Most of the times heartless MCs even ruin the story. I mean how can you even identify with someone that just kills and tortures for fun. It is for the exact same reason I think the part where he gets punished by the system for killing innocents was well done as well. MC becoming uncaring after gaining what is basically immortality is definitely more human than just "having no emotions"(again already seen that 500 million times).

    On top of these complaints being kinda stupid and they seem to be the most common ones, the novel has really good world building and in terms of webnovel standards above average character development. The system is also definitely very unique, so over all I'd say it's definitely worth a read. Especially if you can handle the thought of not being a complete edgelord.

      Heartless MC ruined the story?...

      hmm have you ever read Reverend Insanity, The Legendary Mechanic, Master of The End Times....and many other fantastic novel, I don't think you get this, but a cultivation story without killing ain't a good one, because it is too far fetched and simply without killing, where do you use the power that you gain at? It make the story worse if the MC is naive, unrealistic and annoy the reader.

      And again, a good novel that have ruthless MC without a GODDAMN HAREM OR ROMANCE is rare as f#ck...so don't tell me that there are a whole lot of ruthless MC novel, yes there are, but they are trash.

      But this, this is some good stuff, and I would hate to see the novel ruined because of a stupid MC.

        Ruthless MC novels are a dime a dozen these days and you are straight-up lying to yourself if you think otherwise. If you look at every fantasy/cultivation novel released in the past ~3 years like 80-90% of them have ruthless (aka emotionless) murderhobo MCs.

I don't think so as most of them are horny as shit and trying to find girls, thirsty as hell, being merciful at the wrong time, creating enemy for stupid reason...ruthless?? ruthless is like Reverend Insanity, Soul of Negary, Those are the MC that is truly ruthless, other is just simply killing because of need and because they f#ck up....So yeah they may have ruthless tag but the story is otherwise.....simply trash

      Yeah tbh I hate reading "ruthless" MC for pretty much the same reason, namely that I get no enjoyment from reading about a total psychopath who I can't relate to in any way getting more and more powerful at the expense of anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. Unfortunately, lately it seems like more and more webnovel readers will immediately denounce any cultivation novel with an MC who has any basic human compassion as "hypocritical" or "naive," basically adopting the mindset that there's nothing more important than becoming stronger at whatever cost and all morality is worthless (aka the mindset of 90% of 3rd-rate cartoon villains since like the dawn of fantasy novels).

      No wonder its rating is low. Mc become human from energy with a few chapters which makes the title misleading. Almost all of the story is basically a copyright of other cultivation novels. He is a slave of a system which all of his strength so far is an illusion because the system can take back his powers.

If it is his strength, why does he has a restriction on him? For example, if you own the money and not from your company, you can buy anything you want, no one can control you but the system is controlling the MC where he uses his strength. Most of the story is about the MC spent his time as a cultivator. Why is the title reincarnated as energy? It feels like the energy thing is only an add-on, it isn't really important in the story since he can basically buy anything from the system.
