    Not many people here mention this but the first hundred chapters in this novels are so melodramatic that it will make your soul cringe. Its painful to read about an old man in a child's body behaving like a child with parents who know that their child is an old man behaving with him as if he is a child.

    It might get better later on as many have pointed out but not many people are able to make it through the beginning.

    Well the novel and story was all good for me till tournament arc in which author messed up story and degraded it . But i feel the after immortal world ascending the story is improving again.
    I know author have the habit of adding soap operas every once in a while but what can i say , just bearing with them cause i personally liked the concept and world building of the story and want to read more kef

      Yeah, the ascendance part is like the MC starting all over again where he has to be lowkey and very cautious which I find interesting. It's like him entering the 52 territories for the first time.

    dont read this if you dont like dumb drama mid cultviation and world building aswell as when you dont like the beginnig being trash (even tho the novel isnt realy good in the parts past the beginnig its still atleast 10 better than the beginnig which is kinda stupid since the beginnig is 120ch or so long) btw now im about 300 chapters more in and i have to say at some point it turned somewhat decent sure it still has some dumb drama and the cultviation is also not the best but atleast readable ( i only read further since i had absolutly nothing else to do) one thing to note is that chars are mostly remaining at the same level of intelligence even if the author tries his best they still are quite dumb to often the world building qlso is mhh but atleast the author takes his time to develop certain things and doesnt brush over everything ( doesnt mean he sometimes does brush over things) but still it remains the beginnig isnt the worst ive ever seen but youre in for one hell of a trashy journey in the beginnig until it somewhat betters itself after 150 ch and again after 400 ch. (Until chapter : 564) And now i actually quite like this novel it only took 1k chapters for that xd it still is overly dramatic and a soap opera but its readable and also enjoyable (Current chapter : 1585)

    This story was incredible! But then it turned into a romantic drama. Seriously, every other chapter is about him taking a new woman and the drama that ensues. I’m over it. I miss the story before all the harem drama.

        Probably because some of the tenses (past, present) and views (first, third person) are mixed up and don't give a smooth read. Though I don't know if it's the transition or the author. Most probably the author...

        Tian Long immediately started putting on an act with a cute face.

        Why is his name mentioned every five lines at the beginning of a sentence? Though maybe I am being too nitpicky. Does it get better deeper into the novel??

          English isn't the author's 1st language and the beginning of the story is a bit hard to get through cuz of that. Nothing atrocious but stuff like that. It does get much much better to a point where he basically doesn't have any mistakes as of the latest chapter. The story as well only improves with each arc. My only complaint would be that his ascension arc was bit boring but after ascending it becomes much more interesting again.
