I generally think it's good especially in the earlier chapters but there's one problem that is creeping up. The author keeps writing in more women characters. His girlfriend, his master hasnt had any focus in a while (since chapter 80) but we have met 2-3 new girls that are in love with the mc. And I'm sure I'm not the only one that will dislike the story if it keeps going like this.

Sect Master is simply Bae.

A causal novel, with interesting female leads, and an average OP male lead.

There is no action or adventure but it has drama.

Overall, an average but not a waste of time. (At least for the first 100 chapters.)

A fun read about a guy who gets transmigrated (duh) into a Devil Sect as the number 1 genius and villain. He gets the task of righting his wrongs and to become a good person - and to start this off, he has to confess his feelings to someone. His confession, however, ends up in the hands of the sect master, who's also known as a the number 1 most beautiful woman, but who's also infamous for being as frigid as ice and for imposing a no relationship rule upon the sect. Their Devil sect should only have the Dao in their hearts - no time wasting in pointless affairs!
Thus, hilarity ensues as the MC miraculously courts the sect master, while trying to keep it secret from the rest of the sect. Moreover, he also has to keep up his persona as a emotionless male God, which somehow ends up being interpreted as him being a kuudere - someone who looks cold on the outside but is actually a big softie on the inside.

This novel is unlike other xianxia novels in that it has some fun situations occurring, odd and enjoyable characters (waifu sect master), and the typical cliche/face slapping scenes are few and far apart.

With Chinese xianxia novels, especially system based xianxia novels, good stories are hard to come across because they all seem to come from the same cookie cutter. Here's a nice xianxia novel where the MC is not a 10,000 year old virgin monk, face slapping retard protag, or a douchebag serial killer, etc. It's a relaxing read where the plot develops pretty naturally, and it is memorable for the fun dialogue and witty protagonist.

One thing is for sure, the sect master is absolute waifu material. Best girl nomination of year 2022. I'll fight to the death with whoever says otherwise!
