      Its extremely well written novel with very vivid and realistic worldbuilding. I agree the first few chapters are some of the hardest part of MC's journey but thats also make everything he achieve subsequently even more meaningful.

      I do agree with @xenokrates, this book is NOT for early xianxia reader because it focues more on slow build up and accumulation instead of explosive growth and blood pumping troupes like normal xianxia novels. If you are new I'd recommend...

              In that regard, authors cannot be blamed. The webnovel system is designed in such a way that it incentivizes low quality work. Authors are required to write 2-3 chapters every day, making it unlikely for the story to maintain any originality.

              And webnovel doesn't seem to have any intension to change its model. They are slowly removing free features , AI translated chapters kept under paywall.

    Around chapter 1150 the mc continuously plots revenge on guys that slightly harmed him in the past. It completely contradicts his previously established character traits.

    The further you go the stupider he gets. At one point he finds a guy who he knows us from another world and attacks him for no reason, obviously this fails and his soul is poisoned, but he still acts all arrogant and attacks him again. I can’t stand his personality, he thinks he above everyone else just because he got lucky. Most of his feats are due to plot armour.

    He gets more and more arrogant, vengeful, and lucky as time passes. I really hope he gets put in his place.
