    1)Arent the powers aka magic in this novel too underwhelming??
    53 chapters in MC has already met a purple color CORE magician which seems to be one step away from the peak??

    Meanwhile the magic powers of MC and every person so far seem very weak. The power is nothing stronger than a gun of modern age...

    Plus the world building seems very underwhelming and small as well....
    I mean he lives in a county which has 50 people for gods sake.
    And to travel to some academy on scholarship it only takes a few hours without modern transportation....

    At this point in time, i can only imagine the peak magicians to be akin to a cannon in power, just more diversified... And that honestly feels very weak, considering there's more than 1500 chapters....
    For example, at chapter 53 MC heals a girl that supposedely only the "healing god magician" as they call him, could heal...... Does that mean he is reaching the pinnacle at 53 chapters in??
    Then what are the rest of 1500 chapters for?????????

    Can anyone spoil me if im wrong?? Cause the world really feels too small for me to develop any interest. The same goes for the magic powers of the world as well.

    2) Also the MC has lived for 12 years in a very warm family, and grew up well loved(exept from his big brother) . Still his personality has not changed whatsoever....Does it ever change??
    I'd really not like to read a novel where his personality stays as a cranky old man during the whole time....

      Nah, he’s nowhere near the top of power yet, not even at 1132.
      The novel is more self discovery and yes, the MC does go through a lot of changes. The author makes you care for each character and the losses of certain ones hit hard. Author did a good job with romance IMO given most of the people are teens-early twenties, and the MC goes through a lot of change, power-ups, conspiracies that shape him into a better man, and the power creep is done really well IMO. Lmk if you want specific examples of what heights the MC reaches.

      No, he isn't even close to the top, and about him saving that girl, the reason is because
      actually I think there is a lot of more people that could save her but I guess the author really hadn't established every character from the start so it's understandable. Actually MC isn't even comparable to the god of healing in healing even after he gradutes from the academy, so yeah, maybe to fake mages but to real mages he is barely remarkable at first.

      The world building may be underwhelming at first because you only see the county and the academy but when he leaves the academy you get a lot more of back story and MC goes to a lot of places.

      The MC is far from reaching the pinnacle of power. There are alot of people that can squish him like a bug.

      The world building in this novel is one of the best I have seen in my opinion. If you think it's small. Well that's because you're still in the early chapters.

      If you think the power system is weak. Don't worry. The MC learns spells later on that can wipe out entire armys (under some circumstances of course)

      And lastly, yes the MC does change alot but slowly. As for why he has that personality it will be later explained

        I would recommend it it's a good thing to listen to so if you can find somewhere to listen to it and audiobook form I did that at my job and managed to go through the book in its entirety within about a week
