Amid the steam of the industrial revolution, mysteries surge beneath the surface. Cults and secret societies seek the extraordinary in the shadows, while hidden gods gaze upon humanity from the heavens.

Forbidden knowledge, sacrificial rituals, and forgotten histories—mystery is everywhere.

Dorothy, unexpectedly transported to this increasingly bizarre world, discovers that to survive and move forward, she must adhere to one principle:

Knowledge is power.

And forbidden knowledge?

That’s an even greater power! Collapse

Firstly, your approach is lacking. Before asking someone whether they'd like to promote their book, let alone work with you, you'd need to prove you have the skill to write a complete sentence without stumbling over your words like a line-backer with severe alcohol poisoning. Next, you'd need a suitable reputation, of which you do not have.

Your comments are all the same copy pasted sham-text created by an AI or poorly translated from another language. In fact, you very well may be an AI yourself, or bot created solely to scam authors, which is the most likely option here. In either case, whether the creator of the bot sees this, or this is a genuine account, I implore you to take a long, hard look in the mirror and reflect upon your life circumstances, and what brought you here.

At first it is interesting and exciting, but over time a number of minuses make the book less interesting, as a result I could not continue reading it. Since the chapters were divided into 3-4 parts, it is difficult to say the exact chapter where I quit, but according to the plot it was after she received the information on how to become gold.

A number of minuses that greatly reduced the quality of the book
    1. MC does not use her super cheat (system) at all, the implementation of the cheat is ).0001% out of 100%. It was really painful for me to read how this cheat lies and gathers dust.
    2. The character has absolutely no love or thirst for knowledge. According to the synopsis, I thought that this would be a character who is passionate about knowledge, secrets and solutions to hidden stories in the world. I was counting on some kind of academic spirit, so that MC would directly give off a "scientific" atmosphere. A person who knows a lot is really very attractive, this charm is unique.
But here I didn't see it at all, MC doesn't like knowledge at all, she doesn't really look for knowledge, only that which helps her move forward (rituals of her advancement), or which she needs to give to someone. She didn't dive into knowledge at all, and again missed an incredible opportunity... Just imagine that in a world like in the plot (or simply imagine LOTM) you have no limits on the level of knowledge that you can know.....
    3. Not the last minus, but it became the main reason why I eventually quit King.

The author simply drags out the events too much, it's all so long, but at the same time terribly predictable that you just want to skip 50 chapters to get straight to the most interesting part...
The plot develops approximately as follows.

    1) She finds a hint to information that can help her find information about her further ritual (at the same time she will get involved in a senseless battle) this will take a lot of chapters.
    2) After she finds out where the information about her ritual is, she will spend a lot of time to get to the information itself (and again, she will get involved in a pointless battle along the way).
    3) After receiving the information, she will spend an unrealistic amount of time collecting everything necessary for her ritual (and of course not without another fight that she will plan and implement for dozens of chapters).
    4) Hooray, she finally rose in rank, did you think that was all? No, now you go back to point #1 and everything repeats itself. This is some kind of damn madness ... There are no changes at all, only the enemies will be stronger this time, otherwise everything is the same.

I finished reading until she received the information about her ritual and how to become gold, and I realized that it will probably take about 100 chapters to fulfill all the conditions. + I was already bored with this book, and I just realized that I can not continue reading it.

If you like the setting of the LOTM world, and you don't mind killing your time on something mediocre, then you can safely read it, you might like it, but if you are not ready to tolerate the reason why I abandoned the book, then you can not even start)

In general, for the first 250 chapters I will give a rating of 3.5\5, for the rest of the chapters that I read I would give a rating of 2\5.
The disadvantages that I described were not all, but these were the key ones for me so that in the end the book did not bring the pleasure that I expected.

Haha, it's funny, I also gave up around the same time when information appeared about how to become gold.

      1. I completely agree. At the beginning it was interesting to read about the dragon cry from Skyrim, but then the author seems to forget about this cheat. The main character moves on, but does not use this cheat anymore and there are no interesting gags from other games

      2. This is most likely a problem with the author's skills. He came up with an interesting beginning, but as the plot progressed, he failed to provide interesting lore and revelation of secrets as it was in LOTM.

I don't know if there are other works by the author, maybe this is his first work?

This book is such a disappointment. It is a story clearly inspired by lotm yet it is vastly inferior. The problems start out of the gate with the meaningless genderbender and continue to stack up with Mc doing things that are completely unnecessary and meaningless without much of a goal to further the plot, like some puppet.

The cheat is also very poorly utilized and any power gained from it is usually put on the backseat and not used very much. This is very unfortunate since the cheat is very interesting and unique. It basically takes knowledge from this world and give knowledge from other worlds such as skyrim, league of legend, and darksouls.

The power system is also very similar to lotm which at least makes it decent. It has its flaws but at least the author is trying to put his own twist on it which was interesting.

The world building is very similar to lotm. With its own lost kingdom and supernatural sea that only the likes of amon can get through. It's decent but also feels frozen without the mc or relevant characters.

The Mc is very boring in my opinion. She is very similar to Klein and Audrey, probably inspired by them. Unfortunately she doesn't have the charm they have to me. She feels like a puppet following the strings of the plot sometimes. She feels very artificial, like she was made to fit a list of check boxes that would make her appealing to more ppl. She also doesn't love knowledge or treasure it like you would expect of character with their whole journey based kn knowledge, which is why she doesnt use her cheat properly and disregards knowledge if it isnt immediately useful or compat geared. Other side characters also feel shallow and 2d but there are a couple that are interesting regardless.

This story is still vastly better than garbage slob that you can find in this website and I would recommend it for passing the time if you have nothing to read.

Comparing this to Lord of the Mysteries was your first mistake—every story stands on its own. Just because a work includes elements of mystery and fantasy doesn’t mean it’s following LotM’s blueprint.
As for the gender-bender aspect, while it may not have been strictly necessary, it seems like the author chose it to appeal to a broader audience while still making the protagonist female. Personally, I would’ve preferred a fully female lead from the start, but that’s just me

The world building, power system, magic system, and the mc is similar to lotm. Not comparing a work clearly inspired by lotm to lotm is delusional. Regardless, my qualms with this work aren't due to the comparison but the flaws already inherent to the work itself. The world building feeling frozen when relevant characters aren't involved, the mc feeling like a puppet to further the plot than an actual person, excessive plot armor and the poor utilization of the cheat are flaws that can be pointed out even without comparing this work to any other novel.

I never denied the flaws you pointed out—I simply disagreed with the way you compared the story to Lord of the Mysteries. Just because the protagonist leads a secret society and relies more on intellect than brute force doesn’t automatically mean it follows the same formula. That kind of surface-level comparison overlooks the nuance and intent behind each narrative. Dismissing my point as “delusional” is not only dismissive, it’s frankly a weak way to shut down discussion.

My main point stands: similarity doesn’t always imply inspiration. Shared tropes exist across countless stories—not because they’re copied, but because they resonate. If you believe every resemblance equates to imitation, then maybe reading fiction isn’t for you. Immersion requires an open mind, not constant cross-referencing.
