Lin Yun, 36 years old, lost his wife early on. A mid-level manager in a private company and a single father, he’s been feeling the weight of a midlife crisis lately.

His career has hit a rough patch, his relationship with his 14-year-old daughter is locked in a cold war, and he suffers from chronic shoulder pain that makes every day miserable.

And just recently, he discovered a shocking secret—his daughter is a magical girl.

A young girl, standing against extraordinary monsters, a hero protecting the city from attacks. That’s how the public sees magical girls.

But he knows the truth—being a magical girl is dangerous.

Should he stop her? Or should he respect her choice and find another way to protect her?

Staring at the long-forgotten Heart Blossom gathering dust in his wardrobe, Lin Yun—the former magical girl who retired 19 years ago—faces the third major crossroads of his life. Collapse

Amitabha, fellow Daoists....this one shall now be taken through the sacred rite of poison testing. If the heavens allow, a review shall follow. And should the tribulation masters remain displeased by my use of artifacts, I shall sheath the flair and offer only grounded scripture. troll14

Greetings fellow daoist. I wonder if you have discovered any toxicity yet in this scripture? For the description shown by the heavenly eye describes a tale of a middle aged man exchanging his yang for yin(gender-bending) and reversing into a young lady. As far as the ranks of toxicity goes, this one seems to be atleast around earthly level, which, for us veterans does nothing but leave bad aftertaste. Alas, even if this is not at the heavenly tribulation rank as some of those nationalism scriptures are, I'm in search of a mellow fruit beverage which could alleviate my taste-buds of their boredom. Therefore even earthly rank would not suit me at the moment.

Oh, and before I forget, as you know, poison is just the other side of medicine, and what matters in a scripture is its ratio of poison rank to medicinal power rank. So I wonder if the medicinal power rank is of higher quality in this one?

Ah, greetings fellow cultivator of curious scripture.
The scroll has indeed been unrolled...and I’ve inscribed a full review above, laced with careful poison testing and artifact-assisted rambling. Do ascend a few comments upward and gaze upon it when time permits. May its medicinal properties outweigh its toxicity...or at least offer you a new flavor of madness. It may help you decide whether the medicinal essence outweighs the earthly-rank toxicity

Oh great venerable one this lesser ones understanding of such complex wisdom is as tiny as that of a mustard seed, all this humble human knows is that a gender bender tag for such a story Which I might guess is not actually comedical but seriously told is nothing but poison as a weakling who couldn't survive the journey of the Reverend Insanity and as a strong humble human of a strong belief in the teachings of the justice sect who cut of nano machine before that demon lord could do lasting damage.I humbly decline the alluring invitation of your fellow daoist @TheinkDrunkWanderer
I pray for your souls, may thou retain your identity after this journey you do partake 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Indeed, the road this one treads is fraught with illusion, yin-to-yang reversals, and identity tribulations potent enough to bend the soul and snap one's heavenly dao nameplate in half. It is not a journey all must walk.. nor should they. For some, the sight of silk ribbons and soul-rending emotions hidden behind glittery transformation sequences is but poison in perfumed wine.

But fret not! This lowly one walks willingly into the mirror of yin not to abandon the self, but to taste perspectives denied by the rigidity of sect doctrines. If I return with glitter in my robes and confusion in my soul, then may it serve as a warning — or perhaps a revelation.

May your soul remain unblemished, your nanomachines forever dormant, and your cultivator's path be straight, firm, and blissfully unbent. 15social
