The MC really restarted to cultivate from scratch not once, not twice, not thrice, but, four times... I read it to like 3000+ and had to abandon it when it was always the same stuff...

I remember there was one novel I read in the past and the realm the mc was born in was interesting, it has all the legends and myths of Chinese culture but after the mc became the strongest, which took a long time, maybe several hundred chapters or a thousand, he only found out that the realm he was in was pretty weak and he was a nobody compared to everyone else. Tbh it felt like a waste of time and I already felt like it could have ended there but there were a few thousand more chapters which caused me to just skip to the last few chapters to see how it ended. Ever since then I’ve been extra cautious about reading similar stories but I’ll probably get back into reading them when I have nothing to read. That’s a reason y I haven’t read stories like martial god asura or emperors domination. Thankfully cultivation chat group isn’t the same

There’s douluo dalu (not sure it’s a pure cultivation novel but it’s good anyway), a will eternal (I haven’t finished it and I only read it a while ago, but I remember it was really funny so if u like comedy u can try it),martial arts master ( I really liked it, it’s a modern day cultivation novel so it’s a lot different from the face slapping and doesn’t really have arrogant characters), Nano Mashin (different from other cultivation novels, I really liked it as well), I am really not the son of providence (mostly comedy as well, I really liked it but I wish there was a second season, who knows there might be), chronicles of primordial wars (might be the only pure cultivation novel in my list that has no other big genres) and finally history’s number one founder (I really liked this as well, the mc has a system and takes on a bunch of cliche mc type as students and builds the best sect)
