The Third Dimension is collapsing. The Fourth Dimension is descending.

First it seemed that only technology would evolve, but who knew the world itself could too? It wasn’t as simple as climate change or tectonic movement. No, the fundamental laws of physics that governed everything were changing.

Leonel was fairly lucky. His family was decently well off, his father loved him enough to brew vomit inducing nutrient rich smoothies every morning, and this was both the day of the National Championship and his 521st confession to his dream girl, Aina. As his father always said, nothing was more important than respect and persistence.

Unfortunately, everything changed that night. At the after party of ages, the world reached a saturation point and an apocalypse descended.

Abilities awakened. Sub-Dimensional Zones opened. Invalids rampaged through the Earth like a virus…

Those who could evolve would have a slim chance for survival. Those who couldn’t would die.

This novel will be a unique spin on the dungeon/system genre. Dungeons won’t be dungeons and the system won’t be a system… Take a look to find out what I maen :) Collapse

We cant judge MC's characterisation/Char-development with normal sense {AI(Rational) + Humanity(Emotions/Irrational) - "Calculate/measure of an emotion"} - I feel its fairly new/good characterisation where he rationally deals/thinks to judge/feel/act on his irrational traits (Pride, Love-obsession etc.,) ; Instead of validating in linear way of his Char-development, see it as a some-story/ability-influenced sort ; With an equally flambuoyant-opposite FMC, Great World building - In sync with MC's Many attribute-fields of PowerUp's - Cultivation, Its a fine read (9/10)

This is a 300 chapter review.
I liked this novel at the beginning, but the more i read the more tired i got. I decided to drop this novel, not because it was bad per se, but i simply got fatigued.
Many people feel the mc is a simp, and in this regard, i completely disagree. The dynamic between the mc and the female lead is mutual, they both like each other, so it's not a one-sided affair. However, i dislike how obsessed the mc is with his romantic interest, even if the author has given hints about how there might be a reason behind it, it's still incredibly cringe.
Another big gripe that i have with this novel is character development. The author likes to give the illusion that the mc is growing from his mistakes, when in fact, there is no growth whatsoever. If i were to give it an analogy, the mc's experience would be likened to a rubber band. He makes a mistake which pushes him to the brink, makes his own self-reflection as if he learned from this mistake...and then...that's it. You would think he actually learned something and changed himself, but unknowingly the rubber band snapped back into place, and we get the same old mc. It's like i'm constantly being gaslighted by the author with his numerous self-reflection and self-analysis segments, as if the mc is self-aware, when none of it leads anywhere. That is also a big reason behind my fatigue: not only are his mistakes avoidable, the author hammers it in how much of a failure the mc is which makes me doubly upset. All i can say, is that the author seems to be a sadist. He created a somewhat interesting world, only to have that world constantly harm the mc and treat him like he's a scourge. If the mc breathes the wrong way, he'll offend someone - he is constantly being hunted down, constantly betrayed, constantly abused, yet his personality doesn't change AT ALL, which is incredibly strange. He was just a university(?) student, with no special training, just your average jock quarterback, yet all this betrayal and suffering and misery and self-reflections changed nothing! Still the same person? Really? No trauma????? Ok...
So yeah...i'm tired of reading this novel, which is a shame, i was somewhat interested in the world building itself, but i give up. Maybe you'll like this novel and push through, and there's a lot to like, but to me, it's not worth it to continue. Have a good day.

I upvote this shit! I can see why you would feel that way. I'm tired of reading this novel as well.

It's good, but it's tiring to read something where you see no future ending and events that keep repeating themselves even if the contexts are different.

I gave up reading this. It got boring, bothersome, and tiring.

Maybe I'll get back to it once it ends in the distant future hokage

This novel is quite good. Got to ch.1200 so far. It's somewhat plentiful on emotions comparing to the other novels. But then there's surely plenty of downsides that are getting on my nerves really much.
The MC is somewhat alright, at least until he's got his aims for world domination and that romantical drama plot that manages to get overly annoying by now.
There's a LOT of mistakes done by the characters, which is in a way more realistic. And the characters aren't really that plain. Their decisions and views are changing (even though I sometimes can't understand how they got to some certain decision - which in the end doesn't seem as particularly realistic). Plot armor.
One may think that the MC with all that background should've known a lot by now and had everything at top-notch level, but he's completely clueless at the start and is somewhat crippled. The part about being clueless is really one of the kind. It's like the way of throwing someone into an ocean and not caring whether that one finds some way to survive by sheer luck or not. There's multiple ways, true, but those are unlikely to happen.

The power system and frequent power ups are what keeps this novel somewhat tolerable for me. If not for that I'd have dropped it a long time ago, it's just frustrating to read at this point and even more frustrating to have an mc like Leonel. I'm writing this review as I have finally decided to drop it. The fairly latest chapters have made it abundantly clear the author isn't even serious about this novel anymore. He's just continuing it for the money and retaining the fan base for his amazon books. 2.5-3/5

Great read. As simple as that, it definitely sits within the top ranks of novels in its genre, but like every novel ever there are some things others might want to change to their liking, mine is
but still it remains a fine piece of work.

The author clearly has an amazing mind and his concepts connect seamlessly in an almost factual way, it brings a sort of realism to this work and I love it. I've currently caught up (chapter 1707) and in my opinion there is nothing much to whine about but I'm sure someone will find a way lmao. Character development, World Building, Character Design and Concept are all some of my favorites, without saying too much else I do recommend it, great read.

It's one of the best sci-fi fantasy novel, with a different world-building. I've read over 1600+ chapters, I suggest you read it, (Maybe the first 100 chapters are confusing for you, however, you'll understand the power level eventually).

This is an amazing novel; from mc’s arrogance and superiority complex, to his simping and naive nature, and to how his personality develops as the story moves forward, everything about is perfect. Once you start reading it you won’t even know when you catch up to the chapters.

As of Chapter 555, it's a decent enough novel to keep you somewhat entertained. There's not really enough right now to keep me reading though. Theres nothing glaringly bad about the novel, but there are some things here that irk me a bit and I can see others not liking so I will list them out for any future readers.

    - The MC Simps a little too hard for Aina. It establishes really early on that the MC has feelings for Aina, the FMC, and has asked her out a couple hundred times before the novel even started(it does mention that she never actually declined, just that she never accepted so that makes it less Obsessive Creep). The romance and Aina herself is actually pretty well done in my eyes, but literally any time something happens to her the MC goes Apesh*t.

-The MC has no ambition whatsoever. This is actually somewhat becoming a plot point in the more recent chapters. Coach Owen (his football coach from before the 4th Dimension fell) recognizes that the MC is the most Talented person he has ever seen. But this also makes it so where, like with other extremely talented people, things come a bit too easy for the MC to the point he has no ambition for any thing. Now this could be a pretty neat plot point for others, especially since this trope has been used before in other novels. The thing that gets me is that I'm 555 chapters in and the MC just realized he has no ambition and that's from Coach Owen outright telling him since he didn't realise it on his own. There is no goal/endgame for the novel at this point so it's a bit hard to keep going.

-The power system is hard to grasp. Now, I'm the type of person who can easily grasp things like this, it has never really been a problem for me. But the author of this novel suffers from "New Peak" syndrome, where he introduces a brand new power system every 30 or so chapters. That, plus the fact he keeps switching between Earths power Ranking and the Universal ranking is making it a bit hard to understand. Then there are things that just outright aren't explained good like with the Force Node stuff (I thought he would advance to the 4th dimension power when he completed his force nodes but nope). The most recent addition was of Savants, dudes that need no help understanding Universal Law since they can just wield it day one, which also means it's one of the rarest classifications to be born under. And Author introduces this to us by having the MC fight FOUR of them at the same time, all of whom were from Earth.

At this point, I find myself skimming through more and more chapters before getting to what I really want to see and thats a bit disheartening since the concept is pretty interesting. I'll probably continue reading down the line, but currently I gotta move on to something else.

This is the moment in the book that really goes downhill, but don't worry, it's worse ahead, but it's also better haha.

Awespec makes us suffer along with the protagonist and in the beginning the "rewards" are always shallow, but that changes later on.

Hold on for a few chapters because the plot gets much better later on, a small spoiler about the relationship with Aina

      And yes, about his ambition,

      Read, seriously. ahaa

This is a rant be warned!
It’s refreshing how the MC is naive and I’m alright with that what’s pissing me off about this novel and almost all other apocalypse types is how the MC can be the strongest fighter and the BEST CRAFTER like holy f¥$€ y how wtf do u mean it takes time. And effort to become a good fighter and it obviously takes time and effort to become a good crafter so how tf is he both
Just like in real life the world strongest men aren’t idiots but they’re not geniuses by any means same thing with the smarter ppl scientists they’re mostly scrawny smart ppl that’s not to say there aren’t any that are buff but I can promise you non of them are ever gonna be as strong as a ufc fighter or weight lifter
