    Biggest turn off is he is still level 0 after 200chapters because stupid plot armour made him only have like a week when other people had months to get stronger, plus his personality is inconsistent depending on what the plot needs

    A disappointment.
    That is what this novel turned out to be for me. The author can’t write drama or romance and they haven’t suddenly gained that talent. Just stop it, it has ruined the story.
    Genuinely, of all my years of reading novels/webnovels never have I ever read a more convoluted and braindead way of stirring up drama as what Awe did here.

    Also the MC’s character shifted from a person who was calculative to now someone who is an adrenaline junky. Don’t know if that was always intended but I still feel I got the rug pulled underneath me.

      He is calculating but with the way things are he need to take risks to close the gap between himself and others and somewhere he find that passion that he never had for growing stronger,as for romance it's not main focus of the story and if you are mad because he takes risk for her well they are childhood friends and the reason they broke up is because MC's problem not hers

          What don't you like about the MC's? I think they are great. They are all similar but i like this type of MC the most.

          I find the use of cliches not an issue if they are not super predictable and i don't find he uses them that much either.

          The romances i find good as well. Maybe an r-18 chapter every 100-200 chapters or so makes it a bit more interesting?

          His novels check all my boxes.

          Haven't read this one yet but have read the others besides the rewrite of his first novel because i already read the original.

            In dimensional descent the mc was a total simp, that too a stupid one. And ofc filled with clichés, defeat one, stronger comes, repeat. But for me that was a problem so just dropped it.

            Same here, mc, at first was shown to be extremely analytical and stoic? But in chap 61(could be 60) mc made a stupid decision, which would have been impossible if mc was truly analytical.

            I dropped at around chap 61.luck carried mc so far, no ounce of intelligence, he managed to survive only because of luck.

            This authorc's novels would've been interesting for me without romance, bcuz author can't write romance. Romance is too forced (like dark phoenix said)

              There is a valid reason for him doing so. He even says that he does not know why he did it but it gets explained very well.

              He generally opens the world up but it is logical progression while we get glimpses of real power while the journey of the mc is reaching there and eclipsing. I mean it is a weak to strong genre for a reason.

              Though dimensional descent is my least favorite out of the 3 besides this one that i just started.

            Dyon running around in sweat pants and no shirt and basically saying yo guys ready to get rekt? Was the most memorable mc but the mc of this novel has a lot of potential. Leonel is my least favorite but that mostly because i like that novel the least because the power system is well done in regard to forces like dream but body cultivation is such a big part but hardly explained. Ryu is good as well and is similar to dyon.
