    I'm speechless, this has become a serious addiction for me
    I seriously need intervention crybaby (the same goes for some of you)
    Don't misunderstand, I'm not demeaning anyone here. I'm just a brother who wants to help and needs help. And if you're addicted to these trashy light novels like me then don't be afraid to recognize that you need help.
    I don't know if there's anyone that shares the same opinion here, but at least I'm willing to admit that this has badly affected my daily life.

      what you need to do is unsubscribe from every fiction here keep only shadow slave if you have it here or in light novel (in my opinion its the least trashiest of all) and get some audio books like GOT or the witcher or dune ( are the best iv read ) so you can do productive stuff and not waste your time looking at a screan . I hear them and i v started to run and exersise , they distract me , my life is going much better slowly better and better. And if you whana read sth go to royal road they have beter quality and upload slower im subed to The Runesmith and Godclads and read rising stars that seem fun ( they usually burn out so no comitment there).I havent touched renobis for some time and i dont whana its like burning your time away for nothing

        bro, did you really recommend The runesmith as a good novel? It has the blandest characters the plot is dry at times like REALLY DRY and my biggest gripe with that novel is that the dwarves are so powerful/influential in what seems like a HUMAN-centric kingdom.

      After reading few Epic novels like Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. I decreased reading trash novels. Once you start reading a few quality novels it will discourage to read low quality novels.

        Dave Duncan's Seventh Sword (originally 3 books, but decades later added a 4th "The Death of Nnanji" It is about a man who volunteered as a big brother all the time, died, and was placed in the body of a swordsman in another world - he thought he was supposed to confront "sorcerers" but in reality it was to mentor another troubled kid.

        Benedict Jacka's Alex Verus series. Modern Urban society, with mages. Frost mages, Diviners, Fire mages, things like that. "Light Mages" "Dark Mages" confronting each other, jockeying for power. MC is caught in the middle, a former dark mage apprentice, starts working with the light council. One big metaplot explored over 12 books.

        Butcher's Dresden Files are well known enough, you've likely already read or at least heard of them.

        Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos series. So many memories here, I grabbed the first book when I was 12 or 13. I think it was released in like 82 or 83. I've been following the series since.

        It's about a human assassin/witch who lives in an empire of "elves" who are actually descended from the name of their house. One larger metaplot, but the books are not in chronological order and 2 or 3 books away from completion. MC is a lower level mob boss who is contracted to assassinate people, or about his adventures in other books.

        I like all of Shaara's novels, they are about POV on America's historical wars.

        Janny Wurts (who co wrote Daughter of the Empire trilogy with Raymond Feist) has a series "The Wars of Light and Shadow" It is about 2 half brothers, wielding elemental light and dark, tossed through a worldgate to God's planet for angelic beings. They have vanished, and the planet is covered with a cursed sentient fog they must confront. They are backlashed by the curse and have irreconcilable hatred towards each other. They literally spend centuries molding society and confronting/avoiding each other, all while the sorcerer guardians of the planet are trying to contain evil witch society and the fallout of the brothers. Pretty highbrow reading, it might not be to the taste of many who prefer YA material which is most of the novels here.

    What the hell is going on with this novel. why so many people hate him so unreasonably. I don’t f#cking understand that it’s far from the best, it has a lot of stupid moments, but compared to other shit that I read on this site, it’s average, even a bit taller. everyone advises other novels like this one, everyone writes that some chapters are useless. ale people, start at least a little to think about what you read. it feels like in the comments there are only nerds with one gyrus, who are given only action, justified only by the author's Wishlist, as in most short stories on this site. f#cking looking at the ratings, I generally think that they are completely underestimated by bots. I've seen stories with a worse plot, but the rating and comas were higher and better

      Claims are more likely not to the quality of the novel, but to its significant fall. Compared to the first chapters, the novel has become a shonen with a too pretentious and incredibly lucky protagonist who just gets the most powerful skills in the universe, but at the same time we are constantly told that in fact he is incredibly talented (no) and has achieved everything himself.
      Many chapters are really useless. And the point is not that there is no action, but that there is simply nothing there. The author in them does not reveal either the characters or the world in any way. Often the same thought is repeated in different words in several paragraphs.

      I will not repeat what the brother wrote above, since I agree with him, I will only add one thing.
      He's popular, and there are pluses and minuses to everything, he's popular, and that's why he should withstand more criticism. There is nothing wrong if this novel is good, but if it is average or below average, but has such popularity, then shit is expected to pour on it. Nobody likes an overrated novel that's so popular when it belongs in a garbage dump with a few readers.

      As you said on this site there is no shortage of novels much worse than this, but those novels were never normal from the very beginning, and did not even show hope, and their popularity is also likely somewhere below.

    As much as I love this novel, the story is good imo, but the constant repetition of words and the Authors greediness is getting on my nerves after a thousand chapters. I like this novel, one of the few novels I read from the start to its current chapter. I just couldn’t take it anymore after the literally repeated everything from one chapter to the next from different povs like mf… sigh.

    There's this story where the mc wakes up in a deserted place after being unconscious (we come to know of the mc being saved by his mentor while they were attacked "I think it was in a prison")..the mc travels looking for a habitable place till he finds a farm infected by pests.. a certain villager thinks the mc wants to further ruin there farm to decrease there yields but the mc refutes the notion saying that instead he can help them kill the pests..the villager his happy and go consult with the village elder who in turns out to be enthusiastic, the mc (who is an array smith /rune smith whatever its called in the book) then proceeds to draw an array/rune which helps eliminating the pests after some time..the mc is taken to the village as an honoured guest..the mc hunts in the village and soon we see him meet a strong young girl in the forest who is in danger from a "barbarian" unfortunately helps come accidentally from a young man( from a large sect who offers him help)..the mc soon lives with the young girl at the village but after some time they decide to leave the village to a big town searching for an academy..soon the mc reaches the town while taking place in the academy competitions he start selling swords,sabers imbued with runes which seem to be much better than others on the same level.. the mc makes enemies with young masters and during the end of the competition he is treated unfairly by the judges but soon he rescued by a power house who came looking for the young girl..the mc learns of his true origins and how his father was massecerd and also how his talent was snatched by someone when he was still young..the mc makes a journey to his real roots but we see a certain family trying to hinder journey he forced to massacre his way.. when the mc reaches his destination he finds that his family has since fallen and are divided into three groups who are all enemies..the mc plans to reunite the family but we see him facing slot of difficulties..

      at this point I am inclined to believe NTR occurs with every chapter.. you see author has this amazing story in his head but he decides to not share it with us and instead feeds us this garbage here hence he is basically NTR'ing his audience by not sharing the good stuff.

      but on a serious note, there is not NTR its a false flag, because dude gets rejected while confessing and thinking that now that his confession was rejected he got NTR'd.. so stupid.

        Well, I've wrote the first few chapters, but I'm going to scrap them, as they're sh#t and rewrite everything. Though, I have no clue when, as I'm currently addicted to osu!. Also, you aren't really giving me a hard bar to top, considering it's BW. Only the initial chapter of this sh#itshow were good and everything else is mediocre at best.
