I feel like I need to put this here, so people know before they start reading this. I'm like 99.9% sure that this novel will be several thousand chapters long, so just know that before you start.
The MC is still in First Order (the first tier of the ranking system that goes up to 9th Order, I believe) in chapter 1000(EDIT: he advances in chapter 995). That being said, he can fight high third order close-to 4th order beings, I think (I stopped to let the novel stack at about chapter 600, so my info is from other reviews and comments)

  Eh it's super misleading, TLDR
  In the MCs past, he had a girl he was kinda sorta going out with, turns out the girl was his friends' girlfriend and they were just messing with him the whole time. It's basically only important as a basis for his character typing because it takes place before the story even starts and for like 2 or 3 chapters when he sees her later.

    If I am not wrong, it was later explained that he was not going out with her, but had a crush on during high school and his "best friend" edged him on to confess while knowing fully that she was engaged to him, so they staged this confession scene where MC gets rejected and best friend turns out to be engaged to her.

      My thoughts on what I wrote in spoilers, I think Author got weak knees and decided to soften the NTR thingy hence what I wrote. Even though it was heavily implied at the start that MC got effed hard. There is no other explanation to his skill in beginning otherwise.

        I have not read the latest chapters, but the reason as to why the tag exists, is because of some
        childhood trauma of MC getting rejected when he confessed to a girl, ofc the issue comes that the girl he liked was a fiancée of his best friend who did not tell MC that she was his fiancée, so that best friend also jumps out from some bush and says who are you to hit on my fiancée. - that is the whole situation. The rest is just author being a dick and misrepresenting the whole event to make readers think that there was more to it than that.

  The power system has Orders ( 1st order , 2nd order etc...) MC is still first order 900+ chapters in and the romance in the novel is absolutely stupid too... just like its power scaling ngl.

  From what I can gather, basically because of the MC's leveling and a lot of filler. His level pretty much becomes pointless after a while because
  He was killing enemies several orders above him and killing millions with ease while still being 1st order, something that shouldn't be possible, but you know, OP MC doing OP MC things. Also, the romance is pretty much a SUPER SLOW harem development, but its seems like rn (around chapter 1000, lol), things might advance soon regarding the romance and his leveling
  But don't get me wrong, the writing itself is pretty good tbh, just pretty drawn out and at this rate, will be several thousand chapters long at minimum

I tip my helm to this author, (s)he is literally the god(des) of fillers, author can actual turn a main character into a disabled one who's just full of cr@p. This has so many pot holes that even I, a person who has never ever even so much as post a negative comment about the most cliched and repetitive novels ever, had to complain about it. The sad part is the fact that it had such an amazing beginning and so much potential but as it went on it just got worse. I even dropped it a few times but kept on going back to it in hopes of it improving but alas this author is just utterly...
disappointing
. Although I doubt it at this point, I really hope this novel will become something other than a jumbled up pile of garbage. Apologies for all this ranting and thank you for giving it any attention
