I don’t know why ? But I just can’t get interested in reading the next chapters is looks like something Is missing, some plots or world development or backstory… idk why just I am just reading for the sake of praise done by lotm author I want to see why he praise this ? ,, but till now I have not get any interesting part ,, there is only exploration nothing just he gots the island and then explore then leave it , I mean it will be only that , it sometimes I wonder if something else he can do other then exploration, and lore wise nothing is deep just he want to reach the surface ,, ….

The fact that the author of LoTM praises this novel is enough to read about 200 chapters or more before giving his rating

My synopsis:

A man mysteriously finds himself in an unknown world full of darkness and mysteries. Determined to go back home, he sets off on a very dangerous mission full of threats, deaths and constantly threads on life and death situations all for the sake of going back home. Will the man ever go back home? Or will he instead be stuck in this dark world and be subjected to his own insanity?

My review:

I like it tbh. Imagine LOTM but its all about being a captain of a ship, all about seas and whatever is underneath it. There's also artifacts (reference to SCP). The story is very thrilling, it keeps you on your toes (this is not a Drake reference). Very clear characters, has their own stories without taking too much of a chapter (squeak squeak). Very capable mc, very seasoned (too much in fact, poor dude). Harem (I'm only at chapter 104. So if you like Harem, you'll get your waifus. If you dont like Harem, dont worry, the author doesn't make the Harem as its main selling point. Probably just to lure in horny readers). I'm not too clear on the power structure of this universe cuz it hasnt been explained very well yet as of chapter 104. Lovecraftian stuff, very intriguing. Blood, gore, death, sadness, etc. All that stuff y'know.
Constant progression. With each chapter you read you can actually feel the story progressing and that it really has this sense of goal or objective that is aiming towards (though that sounded like common sense its kinda hard to actually find a novel that has a clear sense of goal that readers should actually know what the fuq they're reading about).

And in my opinion, this novel stands toe to toe with big novels like LOTM, LM, RI and many more.

Overall, I give this novel a 4 stars out of 5. I rated it 4 because there have only been 100+ chapters as of writing this review.

Has anyone read this far enough to know if its good or not?

The cover is a badass drawing of Cthulhu, looking all menacing and shit. Then there's the guy, who looks so out of place. Mf is facing an Eldritch being and just🧍‍♂️

It’s sad how my friend was struck from the medical register for sleeping with a patient.
He was a great vet.
