        MC is pretty OP for his talent and low risk work, MC is not a genius but just a hardworker who drags it out with time. he still one shots people on same level and have several treasures to get out of pinch.
        MC is hardly in a life threatening scenario and that's the MC's aim with his unlimited lifespan, "if he doesn't court death he will not die".

          It turned into an arrogant faceslap novel where mc flees constantly and does dumb shit.

          Quit the novel after the mayfly scene. It's only downhill from there.

          I quit at 600 and the novel is well and truly gutted of anything that made it special in the first arc.

    Got to Chapter 381 and am dropping it now. Originally when I was reading it as it was being updated I got to around 280 then stopped to let it pile up.

    Having started reading it again now, the shift that happens a bit after Chapter 300 is extremely noticeable and is very much for the worse.

    At the start he is very low key and not very talented, so he makes up for that by using forbidden techniques that use life force or similar stuff. Then, as he gets stronger, he remains fairly low key and uses different identifies as a disguise whilst slowly getting stronger.

    Then, he decides to participate in this ruin and it feels like a completely different novel. Suddenly there is CONSTANT young masters and face slapping. It constantly spends ages introducing these random people who are clearly just going to be killed by MC straight away, which he does do...eventually.
    The translation splits 1 Chapter in the source into 3 or 4 chapters in translation, which makes the "fights" even longer. If you're lucky you'll get maybe 1 move in the Chapter, but most of the time it'll just be talk from the peanut gallery.

    His attitude, as others have mentioned, has definetly changed as well. He used to be fairly cautious and didn't reveal himself. Now he is making up this fake Sect that he is from, showing off in front of everyone, spouting generic dumb MC lines "take these 3 punches" etc. And even demonstrating his power to people for literally no reason or benefit at all.

    For well over 100 Chapters now he has been exploring this place and has gotten tons of treasures, yet he gets no time to just relax and use them...it just pushes him straight into the next conflict and then takes dozens of chapters to get through that.

    I would not reccomend putting yourself through this at all, even if the beginning is pretty decent.

    Since the mc started saying that he was from the flowerfruit mountain, the quality of the level dropped a lot and it became more boring than interesting... and out of nowhere, without any explanation, the mc went from being smart to just another mc from a cultivation novel with plot armor, it doesn't even feel like it's written by the same author anymore.
