So is this basically Immortal in magic world but instead it should be called immortal in a cultivation world?

Now am fully caught up at Chap 133. Would reccomend.

This is good imo. It is similar to "Immortal in the Magic World" but the type of Immortality is a bit different - here it includes being able to fully heal from anything as well:
One could still be reborn even if one's physical body was destroyed and one's soul was scattered.

Although he has not been in that type of situation yet. It is mentioned that he is able to slow down the healing process, so that in battle people won't get suspicious that he heals from these things so quickly, but does note that if it was a fatal attack he would instantly be healed regardless. He knows that immortality doesnt give him free reign to do what he wants, since:
'I've seen too many things like immortality in movies. All kinds of unlucky people are tied up, locked up, cut into slices, and have all their blood drained. Sometimes, they're eaten as well.'

The MC is very good too. He is smart and cautious, but in moderation. He is able to recognise mistakes he has made and do his best to learn from them. His attitude towards things is pretty good as well. He lives his life as best he can whilst trying to avoid thing which he will look back on and regret, though he makes sure that he has the power to act in the first place too. He remains lowkey when he needs to, but not as much as some of these types of MCs - he realises that he needs to balance his position with his current needs and adjusts his lifestyle accordingly.

In terms of his actual talent, it isn't that big of a deal here. It seems, so far, that medicine is an extremely important part of cultivation here. He gets taught by a doctor how to adjust techniques to fit him - just like how doctors prescribe different doses based on age, weight etc. which makes sense.

He uses his Immortality a lot to benefit himself. He eats all sorts of plants/mushrooms which are poisonous to utilise their medical strength, since he can just ignore the Poison and not need to process it. Then later he relies on some forbidden skills that require lots of his blood or deduct his lifespan or his vital qi etc. since he can just heal up from it all straight away. He can also practice and use medicines way more frequently than normal, since the downsides don't matter to him.

Given all that, his progress isn't slow by any means. So it's only been a few years so far in the story - whilst he has lost some of his friends/acquaintances, none are due to his immortal lifespan difference. Will be interesting to see how that is handled.

As for romance, so far there isn't any. He has slept with a courtesan once I believe (the language talked about exchanging "puns") but that's it.

Edit: Originally wrote the above at Chapter 90. Now ive read a bit further. It looks like now he is starting to explore more of the world/country he is in rather than the same general area he kept to for the first 100 or so chapters. This also means that there are more time skips as he explores and trains in a more relaxed manner. Also its now exploring how he deals with those around him aging/dying, which is fairly interesting.

For anyone coming across this, I've left a new review upon coming back to this and reading to around Chap 380.

Definetly do NOT reccomend you bother reading this anymore. It gets really bad that it's not worth your time. See my more recent review here for details, but basically the MC becomes a generic stupid MC that spouts cliche lines and shows off for no reason as well as a massive increase in young masters, faceslapping and wasted space by the peanut gallery.

Not bad. I have read ahead in MTL.
The MC is smart and handles things with caution, laying elaborate plans that last decades. Cause, he has got infinite lifespan.
