    LOTM was a novel I never thought I'd love so much but I did. From the first chapter, I questioned what was so special about it, but the more I read, the more engrossed I became.

    It is truly one of the best works of CN history. I understand many people may not like it, and you can dislike it, that's fine. The words are flowery, chapters can be confusing, but this is what makes the novel so special. You need to really read into things. Every word has a purpose.

    Really looking forward to the future of this novel and how it all plays together. If you haven't given the original LOTM a try, I highly recommend it.

        This ISNT LOTM. You can read, right? You know what the difference between a prequel, and originol work are? Why would I read a review of LOTM when this and that are two completely seperate works in a shared universe? Excuse me while I go jackoff to the trailer of some new Harry Potter TV show that only has the 1st episode released. Like seriously, if some new Harry Potter TV show came out, and I told you it was good, and to look at the reviews of PAST movies to judge this TV show, you'd think I was nuts! That's what ya'll look like to me rn.

        Why am I here? Because I click on almost every single story and read the summary? How else would I get here??? Besides, LOTM is just okay. The beggining is boring, and not very clear/well written, the part when he becomes a professor and pirate are awesome, the Mr. Fool part was good for a while, but dragged on, and on, and on, and on. By the end, it was just so mid.

        I love that ppl get so up in arms over <20 chapters of content. Proves my point that you ARE fanboys. What sane person would rate something less than 20ch with 5 stars? No cap, who???

        And to the rest of the ppl, I AM NOT hating on this current work of fiction. Maybe it will be amazing, maybe it will be ass. I'm going to give it a shot when 50-100 more chapters accumulate. I'm specifically hating on YOU, the brainless idiots who only know how to vapidly praise a work with less than 10 chapters translated.

          Ask yourself this; why would the sequel of an ANTICIPATED, very popular, and well written book have fans rating it high?

          And this book 2 is objectively a lot better than the early parts of book 1 which shows a lot of growth from the author. The sequel has natural flow to it as it's less info dumpy, more fast paced, better prosaic and English quality and personally a more likeable MC than Klein as I value proactiveness.

            Who was anticipating this? Why would I care if they were? From my POV, I stumbled upon a rabid fanbase jizzing at the mere thought of a sequel. With little to no actual content to be found. Excuse me if I found this insanity off putting.

            Yeah, I hope this book is awesome. I'ma wait 50-100ch and wait and see. Unless it's complete crap, it's not fair to judge a book on the 1st 10ch. I'm glad to hear that the author has cleaned up and tightened his skills. Hopefully he maintains that level.

The author teased the title 3 weeks before release and both books immediately went trending there

      Stupid comment, under LOTM there is no shortage of comments specifically describing the book's good points. just go read it and you will see what exactly others like about this book.
      On the other hand, I can ask the same question, you say that this is crap, so be specific what exactly is crap here, and not I don't mean the parts that you just don't like, but what really makes the book crap, poor quality parts.

      On a side note, the reason anyone would be reading a second part of a novel is that they read the first one, and liked it... see where I'm going with this? Yes, because they're "fanboys" of one of the best novels ever.
      You either read the first part and you like it so you continue on to the second one, or you don't in which case you stay put till enough chapters are out for some reasonable reviews to come out.
      Or you can just take a leap of faith and try the second part? after you read the first one of course.

            Bit outdated info btw, its not confirmed in the slightest. They had a later interview october 2022 and he elaborated that its only one of the possibilities. The others being something like a pathway from the outer deities, etc. You'd know if you were in the ranobes discord community 😉

        Another thing to note, why would four chapters be considered as spoiler. If it were thirty or fifty chapters forward then probably, but the thing i mentioned here happens in second chapter, it's like saying watching a trailer is considered as spoiler, and the effect in a novel is more undermined.
